Hugel's first Pinot Gris SGN since the 1865 which I was privileged to taste with his family, in 1983 - it was still amazingly good after over a Century in their cellars. The '76 spicy, crystalised violet bouquet; sweet, rich, soft, rounded. A concentrated yet gentle wine. Last tasted, also with the Hugel family in 1994. Will still be excellent. MB
