A STATIC DISPLAY MODEL OF THE C.S.S. ALABAMA
modelled by P. Hutson with amsts, yards, standing and running rigging, fiddle-end prow, folded anchor on davit, gratings, belaying rails and pins, capstan, shot racks with shot, open bridge, funnel with safety valve extension pipes, companionways, lockers, four ship's boats swung out in davits, six cannons in carriages and two carronoades in slides and other details. The hull, with rudder and four blade propeller, is mounted on a wooden stand on display base with glass cover. Measurements overall -- 21 x 37½in. (53.5 x 95.3cm.)
