Of baluster form with upright foliate handles suspending drapery, each painted with an amorous eighteenth century couple in a misty garden, one discovering a nest of birds, the other with butterflies, within an elaborate foliate gilt cartouche, the reverse with a lakeside manse, on conforming socle, the cast laurel wreath and shaped square base raised on toupie feet
