The domed cover modelled as a stag trophy, the bowl painted front and back with woodland scenes of hunters and hounds chasing deer, within rocaille-moulded cartouches enriched in gilt and trimmed in turquoise and pink, applied overall with mayflower blossoms and flanked by foliate scroll handles
