13TH-12TH CENTURY B.C.
The bronze helmet of oval section with shallow central ridge and three encircling horizontally fluted bands, the border pierced for lining attachment, with some studs remaining, surmounted by a four-sided crest holder with diamond-shaped ribbed lower body and circular cord-patterned top, with gold-coloured river patination, repaired with minor restoration
7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) high
