Mark of Johann George Hossauer, Berlin, 1830
Baluster-shaped, on pedestal foot, the scroll handle with ivory insulators and shell terminal, the hinged cover with ivory baluster finial, the body engraved with the Order of the Black Eagle below a Royal Prussian crown, the foot-rim stamped with initial W with Royal Prussian crown above for Prince Wilhelm, later Emperor Wilhelm I, marked on foot-rim, also stamped '12 löth'
