Mark of Marten Heinrich Hansen, Kiel, dated 1898
Tapering cylindrical and on three ball feet, the body chased with oak-leaves and acorns and engraved with crossed pennants of the Kaiserlicher Yacht Club and with inscription 'Segel Wettfahrt Kiel-Travemünde 1 Juli 1898', engraved beneath the base with AV monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for Empress Auguste Viktoria, and with inscription 'Gewonnen von J.M.Yacht Jduna', marked on base
