An ivory netsuke of a kinchgu (purse)
19th Century
carved in thd form of a purse with the clasp to one side incised with a shell design -- 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) high; an Asakusa school ryusa stag-antler manju netsuke carved with floral and bamboo openwork panels to each side -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) diam; and an ivory manju netsuke inset with a carved and stained ivory bird -- 1¾in. (4.4cm.) diam., (rubbing).
