Calibre 13CC, rhodium finished 23-jewel mechanical movement with bimetallic-cut compensation balance, eight adjustments, swan-neck micrometer adjustment to the regulator and fausses côtes decoration, the movement stamped with the Poinçon de Genève, silvered dial with applied Arabic numerals, subsidiary constant seconds, 30-minute recording dial, date dial, day, month and moon phase apertures, minute track, outer fifth seconds and tachymeter scales and gold Feuille hands, circular case with stepped down-turned lugs and snap on back, movement, dial and case signed.

Ref:2499 was produced form 1951 to 1985 in four series totalling 349 examples. This reference was produced in yellow and pink gold, two examples are known in platinum, watches with tachymeter are very rare. First Series from 1951 to 1960 having square buttons, applied Arabic numerals, Feuille hands and fluted lugs.
Second Series having square buttons, applied markers, Arabic twelve and Dauphine hands.
Third Series from 1960 to 1978 with round buttons, Dauphine or Feuille hands, applied bâton markers and sapphire crystal.
Fourth Series from 1978 to 1985, Ref:2499/100 having round buttons, Dauphine hands, applied bâton markers and sapphire crystal.
