gilt three-quarter plate movement with spotted plates, screwed chatons, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel spiral spring with overcoil, gold cuvette, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary day, date, moonphase with combined constant seconds, four year dial unusually combined with up-and-down dial, blued steel hands, bezel with setting levers for quarters, hours and quarters, strike/silent, moon/date/months/days, plain polished case with London marks for 1887, repeat slide in the band, casemaker's initials JW, diameter 56mm.
