Shallow rectangular turquoise-blue enamelled copper box, baluster sides and slightly raised cover, the hinged cover painted with a colourful flowerspray on a white oval central reserve, framed by a gilt Rocaille border, the base painted with a sprig of flowers in slightly raised gold, the narrow sides similarly decorated, the raised gilt-metal mounts engraved with wavy reeding, with pierced arched thumbpiece echoed at the base by a ropetwist motif, the inside of the lid inset with a mirror, the inside of the base with inscription in slightly raised gold 'GAGE.DE.MON.ESTIME'
