a plaque on the Y-shaped foot for M. PILLISCHER LONDON THE INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURER and numbered 3285, with rack and pinion focusing and micrometer fine adjustment and single nosepiece, the simple stage with aperture disc and concave substage mirror, on an axis on two lacquered-brass pillars to the foot, with two eyepieces numbered 2 and 3 and two objectives, in the original mahogany case (bottom detached) -- 10¼in. (26cm.) wide; and a pine slide box with twelve trays, each with six Flatters & Garnett slide preparations (2)
