AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON
Circa 2nd-Mid 1st Century B.C.
Dark blue in color, the cylindrical body with rounded bottom and rounded shoulders, a long cylindrical neck and horizontal rim-disk, with an applied opaque yellow marvered thread wound spirally from the rim, along the neck and the entire length of the body, tooled into a zig-zag pattern in the middle of the body, with twin dark blue lugs below the shoulders
