The first with curved single-edged European blade double-edged towards the point with two fullers on either side, characteristic hilt, gold mounts decorated with scrollwork, flower-heads and running foliage, all in low relief, ivory grips bound with plaited gold wire at the base, and original leather-bound scabbard (defective) with gold mounts en suite with the hilt; the second with earlier flattened tapering double-edged European blade, the central fuller on one side with running wolf mark, tapering leather-bound grip, and original leather scabbard with chased silver mounts
