With rebrowned two-stage twist sighted barrel octagonal and then polygonal at the breech, case-hardened patent breech with gold line, gold-lined maker's stamp and platinum-lined touch-hole, finely engraved tang, signed engraved detented lock, roller, 'French' cock and rainproof pan, finely figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising) with chequered grip, finely engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon and fore-end cap, and associated ramrod with worm (iron parts with some wear and scattered surface pitting), London proof marks
