With octagonal brass barrel with silver fore-sight and silver line at the rear of the breech, engraved tang incorporating the back-sight, signed engraved bevelled lock with safety-catch, stepped tail, and large roller, figured walnut full stock, chequered butt (repaired), engraved mounts, pierced ribbon side-plate, trigger-guard with pineapple finial (tang repaired or replaced), pierced escutcheon with owner's initials 'TG', and horn-tipped ramrod, London proof marks
