A VERY RARE PAIR OF 22-BORE GERMAN FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS WITH BRONZE BARRELS, LOCKS, COCKS AND STEELS

With heavy swamped sighted barrels each signed 'Wagner A Berlin' on the sighting flat, plain iron tangs each with a stepped ramp at the front, rounded locks signed en suite with the barrels, reinforced rounded cocks, moulded blackened full stocks carved in relief with foliage in front of the trigger-guards and behind the barrel tangs, full bronze mounts, pierced side-plates cast and chased in relief with foliage and a mask, moulded spurred pommels each with grotesque mask cap, pierced escutcheons each surmounted by a coronet, bronze triggers and trigger-plates, bronze baluster ramrod-pipes, and bronze-capped ramrods, in fine little-used condition
