With octagonal barrel rifled with three grooves, the top-strap engraved 'Deane. Adams and Deane. No. 30. King William St.t. London Bridge.', serial numbered frame and cylinder, Adams 1854 rammer, gilt safety-stop, arbor pin catch and trigger, chequered walnut butt pierced for a lanyard-ring, and stepped oval pommel, the metal surfaces finely decorated with gold koftgari flowers, scrolls and foliage, in fine condition throughout, London proof marks
