With browned twist octagonal sighted barrels polygroove rifled and signed in full on the top flat, engraved case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line and plug, scroll engraved case-hardened tangs, scroll engraved case-hardened detented locks each with safety-catch and stepped tail, and engraved 'C. Moore's Patent', figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, fluted pommels, blued iron mounts, scroll engraved spur trigger-guards, trigger-plates with engraved pineapple finials, scroll engraved fore-end caps, silver escutcheons and pommel-caps, and nearly all their original finish throughout, London proof marks
