A FINE CASED 140-BORE SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER-AND-UNDER PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOL

With signed blued octagonal barrels, the upper one sighted, scroll engraved breeches and tang, engraved platinum plugs, signed scroll engraved case-hardened locks each with blued external mainspring, chequered figured walnut butt, scroll engraved silver trigger-guard and pommel, the latter with vacant gold cap, small vacant gold escutcheon, no provision for a ramrod, and nearly all its original finish (the hammers each a working replacement): in fitted silver-mounted rosewood-veneered case lined in plum velvet with accessories (turnscrew and nipple-wrench missing) and two hammers
