An ormolu charriot with Meissen porcelain putti and Vincennes porcelain flowers Circa 1755
The putti painted in colours and enhanced in gilt, modelled by J.J. Kaendler, comprising: a central seated bacchic putto enhanced with trailing vine and holding a goblet towards its mouth with its left hand, a smaller one wearing a purple cape and with a protective gesture behind it, with two frontal winged cherubs blowing a conch seated astride wide-eyed dolphins connected with chains to the chassis, the elaborate ormolu wheel-drawn charriot composed of berried branches issuing from a conch seat, the back with a tasseled support and further applied with scrolling branches ending in leaves and surmounted with a multitude of polychrome Vincennes flowers
