A Regency satinwood, ebony-banded and brass-mounted mantel timepiece, circa 1810
The arched case with urn finial and with volute mouldings to the sides with carved flowerhead caps, with inverted breakfront base, recessed panel below a white painted Roman and Arabic dial with brass bezel, signed Brockbank & Atkins/London/12424, blued steel hands, the single chain fusee movement arched plates and anchor escapement, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate with repeat signature -- 15in. (38cm.) high
