The breakarch triple pad top with brass handles to the sides above brass arched fishscale sound frets, the moulded base raised on brass bracket feet, the silvered and engraved Roman and Arabic dial signed in the centre BRYANT & SON/LONDON, hands now black painted, with subsidiary rings in the arch for date and strike/silent, the five pillar twin wire fusee movement now with anchor escapement, strike on bell, lacking trip repeat, the back plate elaborately engraved with scrolls and a fruiting basket -- 15½in. (39.5cm.) high
