A Berlin lapis-lazuli ground micro-mosaic coffee-can and saucer
Circa 1810-15, underglaze blue sceptre with enamel blue dash marks, cup with Pressnummer 32 and incised ,,,,, saucer with indistinct Pressnummer and incised ,,
The cup with a butterfly in a circular medallion painted to simulate micro-mosaic flanked by two hexagonal panels of simulated pietra dura with Antique lyres, below a gilt band border with scrolling foliage and anthemion palmettes, the interior richly gilt, the saucer similarly decorated with three medallions alternating with three hexagonal panels about a central large medallion with a butterfly, the underside of the border richly gilt (2)
