The anglaise riche case with reeded silvered columns with gilt Corinthian capitals, push repeat button to the top with dentil cornices and gilt and silvered reeded handle, the porcelain panels to the sides painted with two young bucks attired in period courtly dress within garden landscapes, the porcelain dial painted with two ladies in period dress lying arm-in-arm on chaise longues within a garden landscape, Arabic dial with blued spade hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on two gongs with three position sonnerie adjustment lever in the base, the base plate numbered 4439 36, the back plate signed LF (within a shield) Paris 4439
