An English blue and white delft porringer or bleeding bowl
Circa 1730, probably London
Of typical shallow circular form with a single pierced foliate handle painted with stripes, the interior with a three-leafed flower-spray beneath a loop-pattern rim, the exterior painted with four large lobed oak-leaves painted with stripes and shading (usual surface flaking and chipping to rim and edge of handle, very slight fritting and scratching to interior)
6¾ in. (17 cm.) wide
