Half title, coloured frontispiece, half tone plates and illustrations, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED WITH APPROXIMATELY 55 18TH-CENTURY ENGRAVED CARICATURES, many hand-coloured, a few double-page, by Hogarth, Gillray, Cruikshank and others. (Occasional spotting.) Contemporary brown morocco gilt ruled and decorated in gilt, gilt edges (extremities lightly rubbed, some very light scuffing, spine a little faded).
