The body-tube with sliding dust-cover for the eyepiece, held by a short limb moving up and down the main pillar by means of tangent screw adjustment, the pillar marked with focal positions 1-6, the eared stage with slots for three stage instruments, the main pillar raised with a scroll support and substage mirror on top of a square mahogany base incoporating a drawer with a brass pull. Accessories include six numbered objectives, a live box, a sprung slider holder, a frog-plate, and one ivory slider with four cells, inscribed 4, in a flat-topped pyramid-shaped mahogany carrying case with a second drawer, brass carrying handle and key
