Stamped on the double barrel R. & J. BECK 31, CORNHILL LONDON 6680. 19th Century
The eyepieces with rack and pinion adjustment, the barrels with rack and pinion focusing and micrometer fine adjustment, the mechanical stage with substage condensor and plano-concave mirror, the whole tilting on an axis between two upright supports from the Y-shaped foot, with single barrel for conversion to a monocular, five eyepieces, three Beck objectives in canisters, triple nosepiece attachment, various substage attachments, stage forceps, table bull's-eye stand with different lens, and several other items, in a fitted mahogany carrying case with brass carrying handle
