The draw-tube with stained oak eyepiece mount, green vellum covering, mahogany nose and lignum vitae objective mount, the octagonal-section barrel with various moulded decorations and ivory stringing, raised via a barley-twist column above the circular tripod-supported stage from the stepped octagonal plinth base with substage mirror
