A PAIR OF HUANGHUALI LAMPHANGER CHAIRS, DENGGUAYI

Each of tall, slim form with a subtly yoked round-section toprail with short protruding ends supported on slightly bent back posts continuing to the back legs, the wide rectangular, gently S-curved back splat book-matched to show off its lovely graining, the soft mat seat enclosed by a rectangular frame with 'ice-plate' edge above legs joined in front and the sides by plain aprons and spandrels, with stepped stretchers, a footrest and shaped aprons
