carved wearing tied robes with attached basket to the rear, holding a large fish in his left hand, standing on rockwork with one foot on a slightly raised platform, incised signature to the underside -- 6in. (15.3cm.) high; and another ivory okimono of a man in a startled pose with one leg raised beside a shrew, a further shrew clambering on the his side -- 6¼in. (16cm.) high, (piece missing from fishermans hand on first piece, piece re-glued to second piece).
