The case by A. Gaurier, The movement by Pleyel, Paris, Serial numbers F/62044 and 113283, Circa 1895-1900
Of typical form with quarter-veneered top and sides, each side centred with a ribboned-tied oak-branch oval reserve, the shell-headed legs applied with foliate chutes beneath trailing bellflowers, the movement cast with PL&C, the fingerboard with Pleyel/Paris, the underside stamped F/62044/AGaurier/113283
39 3/8 in. (100.3 cm.) high, closed; 75 in. (190.5 cm.) high, opened; 59¾ in. (151.75 cm.) wide; 75½ in. (191.8 cm.) long
