A large Meissen Kakiemon flying squirrel dish
Circa 1740, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords and Pressnummer 21
(Eichhörnchendekor) painted in colours with a red squirrel flying over two tied fences of bullrushes (Reisighecke), further with a yellow dotted yellow squirrel and branches and sprays of Indianischen Blumen, the wavy edge outlined in dark brown
