A pair of rare Dutch Delft blue and white royal armorial tobacco jars and copper covers
Circa 1750, marked for de Drye Klokken
The ovoid body decorated with the elaborate simplified crowned coat-of-arms of Philip II of Hapsburg (1527-1598) King of Spain in 1556 and King of Portugal in 1580 or Philip IV de Borbon y Borbon (1605-1665) King of Spain in 1621, surrounded by tied foliage, probably the stylised Order of the Golden Fleece, within a tied laurel wreath, the domed copper covers with spire finial
