The arms painted on a green ground and inscribed 'G IV R HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE' and ' DIEU ET MON DROIT', within an eared George II ebonised and parcel-gilt frame with ribbon twists and foliate-carved borders, Vitruvian scroll and acanthus sprays to the spandrels, the frame redecorated, with handwritten label to the reverse 'From W.J.
