Details
Two 18th century sard intaglio double portrait "marriage" rings,
one oval carved with a double portrait of a bearded man and a lady with bound hair, in profile facing each other, in original gold mount; the other of rectangular rounded form carved with opposing heads of a man and a lady with swept back hair, possibly Emperor Caracalla and Plautilla, in 18th century mount with split open-work shoulders and reeded hoop, the bezel reverse with serrated border.
