with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and growler --27½in. (70cm.) high (muzzle with clips of mohair glued on, a few bald patches, general wear, arm pads recovered and damage to others) and a copy of a studio photograph of the original owner with her teddy

The photograph is labelled with the bears history - "Miss Petnacky was taken to London on he sixth birthday in 1905 to a 'large toyshop' to chose one of the new teddy bears. The photogrpah was taken the following day in her home town of Southend on Sea at Shepherds Photographic Studios, 'Teddy' as she called him was her constant companion."
