decorated in silver, gold and part coloured lacquer in hiramakie, takamakie and kirikane with a cockerel and hen amongst bamboo, the side with pine saplings issuing from rockwork, the interior and underside in nashiji -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cms) long, wood box.
