2o (520 x 365 mm). Manuscript index (laid down), 93 engraved double-page maps mostly by Delisle, many with outlines colored by hand (lacks title-page, a few with marginal repairs, light dust soiling to edges). Modern cloth.

One of numerous variations, most maps are published by Covens and Mortier. This atlas contains numerous important maps of the Americas including: Mappemonde 1720; 2 Hemisphere maps 1714; Plan de la Ville et Fouxbourgs de Paris 1716; Carte de Amerique 1722; Carte du Canada 1703; Carte du Mexico 1703 (Schwartz & Ehrenberg pl. 82); Carte de la Louisiane et du Cours du Mississippi 1718, first issue, without New Orleans (Schartz & Ehrenberg pl. 84); Carte des Antilles Francoises 1717; Carte de la Terra Farme 1703; Carte du Paraguay du Chili 1703; Orbis veteribus, noti tabula nova 1714 and many others. A few maps bound in at the end are by Sanson, de Wit, Blaeu.
