Titles with engraved vignettes incorporating printers' device, 64 engraved maps by Girolamo Porro, consisting of a small folding double-hemisphere world map and 63 half-page maps, including 3 further world maps, woodcut diagrams in text, woodcut initials and ornaments. (Perforated stamp in title and last leaf, small ink stamp to first leaf, light browing.) 19th-century half vellum and marbled boards (chipping to spine label and edges). Provenance: Marco Lazzari (old ink stamp on title).
