A Sevres two-handled cup, cover and stand (tasse a toilette)
1768, pink interlaced Ls enclosing date letter P to both, pink painter's X mark for Micaud to both, cup incised X and 30 (?), saucer incised 8
The cup with joined C-scroll handles with gilt husks, the seeded pale-blue ground reserved with vertical bands of pink roses within circular gilt berried myrtle cartouches alternating with gilt flowerheads and diaper ornament within circular green berried myrtle cartouches, the domed cover with similar bands radiating from a white and gilt carnation finial, the saucer with parallel bands, within gilt dentil rims (cover with minute chipping to finial and one leaf of terminal, minute areas of wear to gilt rim, saucer with two minute areas of wear to ground)
