navy wool cloth, with St. Georges crest in white, navy and red silk, inside label inscribed "J.H. Edrich 7."
J.H. Edrich followed in Hobbs's footsteps as Surrey's opening batsman, and was in the England side for some 12 years, becoming well known to every schoolboy in the mid 60's to 70's. This is thought to be the cap worn on the 1965-66 tour of Australia.
