signed on the edge of the stage R. Field & Son Birm.m , in a fitted mahogany case -- 28cm. (11in.) wide

The barrel has rack and pinion (defective) and draw-tube focusing over the circular stage with concave substage mirror, all contained within the same vertical brass sleeve. Accessories include: six numbered objectives; slide covers and rings in a brass canister; live box; stage-mounted bull's-eye condensor; stage forceps; and five four-cell ivory sliders with a hand-written list of objects.
