by John Browning 63 Strand, London 742, in a leatherette-covered case -- 16.5cm. (6½in.) wide
See Colour Illustration
The body-tube slides in a sleeve, engraved with maker's details, fixed to a tube of brass, which acts with the two folding legs as a tripod stand. The case has purple felt and silk lining, with the maker's gilt stamp in the lid.
