The binocular body-tube incoporates a sliding prism and has rack and pinion focusing with micrometer fine adjustment and rack and pinion adjustment to the shaped eyepieces. It is attached to the main pillar via a short limb. There is a complex mechanical stage and plano-concave substage mirror. The main pillar is raised on an axis on a Ross No.1-type stand with a Y-shaped foot. There is one unsigned objective stamped Argus 2IN
