The first with robust straight single-edged blade, iron hilt cut on the outer side with scrollwork in low relief, and brass-covered grip bound with silver wire, in iron-framed scabbard lined with leather-covered wood, and with embossed silver locket set with turquoises, the tip of the scabbard gilt around the edges and a enclosing chased silver panel set with large stones; the second with straight tapering blade with four fullers on each face, wire-bound grip with a fluted white-metal collar at each end, and pierced and engraved domed silver pommel, in leather-covered wooden scabbard with white-metal locket and chape
