The premier-partie boulle case with brass handle and four part-milled ormolu urn finials to the architectural top, with arched gilt-brass lined glazed side panels and conforming rear door, applied with brass lines to the chamfered front angles, the plinth raised on milled ormolu bun feet, with stiff leaf cast sight ring to an arched and engine-turned ormolu dial, with white enamel Roman chapter disc with blued steel moon hands, enamel strike/silent disc decorated with leafy sprigs above, the five pillar movement with shouldered plates, the single chain fusee pocket watch movement with lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance and positioned on circular plates to the back plate, maintaining power, strike/trip repeat on bell, the back plate with a leaf engraved border; with a purpose-made modern travel box
