The silvered dial signed Strasser & Rohde Glashütte i/Sa No. 345, regulator format with outer minutes and inner seconds and hour dials, delicate blued steel hands, wound through the centre of the hour hand, the movement with arched lacquered brass plates secured by blued steel screws to the back plate and knurled screws to the front plate acting as securing points for the dial, the high count wheel train having wheels with five crossings, all pivots in jewelled châtons, the deadbeat gravity escapement with adjustable pallets, the gravity cage suspended above the backcock vibrating via a steel nib resting on the steel suspension spring for the invar pendulum numbered 258168.D.R.G.M.275125. and numbered 65 on the rod beneath the suspension hook, indirect drive to the original pulley and brass-cased weight, the movement supported on a brass bracket secured to the backboard, the case with glazed sides, the hood with front door and hinged sides with brass securing latches, the backboard with silvered beat scale and pendulum securing device
