The hood with swan-neck pediment and outset reeded columns, the trunk with geometric and chequer inlays, short door flanked by canted sides, the plinth with recessed panel, the 14in. painted Roman dial with floral spandrels and harvest scene to the arch, signed Blakeborough/Ripon (retouched), the posted frame movement with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell; associated, case and dial mid 19th century, movement 18th century -- 91½in.
